Chevrolet Suburban Ls 2020 Black 5.3L
The 2020 Chevrolet Suburban remains a staple of big families everywhere. Its massive interior, sturdy construction and powerful V8 engine make it the ideal do-it-all full-size SUV.
With an all-new Suburban scheduled to arrive in 2021, this 11th-generation giant is beginning to show its age, failing to meet the standard horsepower, towing, and fuel economy of the newer Ford Expedition Max. Then again, Ford has nothing to match the Suburban’s available 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8.
Still, as no one else other than GMC and Cadillac builds an SUV with similar dimensions, the Suburban isn’t too worried. From its handsome, clean exterior to its downright plush accommodations, there’s a reason Suburban families return to Chevy dealerships time and time again.
Used 2020 Chevrolet Suburban Pricing
The 2020 Suburban LS carries a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting just over $52,000 for a 2WD version including the $1,295 destination fee. A mid-range LT starts over $57,000 and the Premier starts around $66,800. Add $3,000 for 4WD. Add in all the bells and whistles and the Suburban can easily approach the $85,000 mark. That’s markedly more than a Toyota Sequoia or Nissan Armada, but the Suburban is a lot bigger. It’s now less expensive than the new Ford Expedition Max, but also not as sophisticated.
Before you set out to buy a new Suburban, be sure to check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to see what buyers in your area are paying. Historically, Suburban resale values have been only average, now lagging behind the Ford Expedition Max and Nissan Armada, and measurably below those of the smaller Toyota Sequoia.
